Training

Training at Amelia Hairdressing takes the form of 'Training Modules' designed to cater for individuals who are practising stylists wishing to update their skills or who need a little bit of assistance to develop their existing competence within a specific area.

The training is also suited to qualified hair stylists who have been away from the industry for an extended period of time and are looking to get 'up-to-speed' with developments and techniques.

Training modules

• Colour Correction
  This workshop is designed to develop knowledge and the practical skills associated with re-pigmenting or simply changing the tonal value and depth of the hair in order to achieve any desired look.
   
• Colour
  Understanding the importance of the colour wheel and the hair's underlying natural pigmentation to ensure the colour choices you make and the applications are correct. Various colour techniques will be shown throughout the day.
   
• Cutting
  A full and fun-packed day of fashion cutting using various texturising techniques with both scissors and razors to cope with the modern day styles and clients expectations.
   
• Style and dress hair / long hair
  This workshop is designed for stylists that need support in dressing long hair and developing creativity with hair up for that special occasion using added hair and ornamentation.
   

All the modules are flexible and can be tailored to suit the needs of anyone, giving each individual the knowledge to be confident as a stylist within the industry.
